                                        Eragon is a cool book and has tons of blood and murder                      

Soon after Eragon finds a strange purple stone in the spine,  he finds that his life has changed forever when the stone hatches a dragon hatchling. his home is destroyed by King Galbatorix's servants, the uncle who took care him is killed by the king's servants as well, and he and his dragon, Saphira, are forced to run away from carvahall, Eragon's hometown to get away from the evil Empire and his soldiers and servants.  Brom the storyteller decided to help Eragon, soon Eragon discovers that he is the last of the Dragon riders,

While planning revenge against those who killed his uncle, Eragon learns to talk with his mind with Saphira, and Brom begins teaching him the skills of fighting and magic. But soon Eragon realizes he is tearing the Empire apart, and that he and his dragon may be the ones to change the balance of power-if only they can find out who they should trust to trust.
