to develop an understanding around a range of suffixes and prefixes  crafting his ideas into sentences and paragraphs that flow   

reading goal
to find clues in the text and use his knowledge of the topic to make inferences using evidence in the text to support his answers and evaluations  

maths goal
solve division problems that result in fractions answers e.g 12➗5=2 2/5- to grow his place value knowledge of numbers up to 7 digit numbers  

key competency goal
play hockey for the hokowhitu school hockey team 

personal goal
to get to stage 7 in the basic facts ladder by year 2019
